The recording [1959] is admittedly a bit dated now, but the passion is definitely still there. Ewan MacColl contributes the main part of the vocals, with able support from Peggy Seeger, whose guitar and banjo provide a sparse but solid backup. Amongst the fourteen offerings, you'll find excellent versions of "Aikendrum" and "The Banks of the Nile."
