The Carlton Showband was an Irish/Canadian folk group. Formed in Ontario in November 1963, the band played the showband circuit in North America and Ireland for many years.. The lineup when their debut album We're Off To Dublin On The Green was recorded in 1966 included 5 musicians from Ireland: Chris O'Toole (leader), Christy McLaughlin, Mike Feeney, Seamus Grew, Sean McManus, and Fred White (the lone Canadian, from Nova Scotia).
