Donald MacLellan - Dusky Meadow

This recording is an absolute treat. Lots of classic Scottish tunes played with Gaelic expression. To many, Donald was the living master of old-style strathspey playing. It's truly inspiring to hear someone in his mid-80s playing so strongly. Donald MacLellan is supported on thge album by Doug MacPhee on piano. Sadly Donald passed away one month after this CD's release in 2003. He hadn't made a solo album for nearly 40 years.
